I am often asked the question, what is my favorite destination, and my answer is always and immediately AFRICA!
In the words of Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Baily Circus it is without a doubt “The Greatest Show on Earth”. Nothing else stirs the soul quite like this continent with its diversity of people, sights, colors, languages, food, wine and not to mention animals!
After my first trip to Kenya, I came home knowing I would never want to go to another zoo. I don’t want to see animals behind bars. I only want to experience them in the wild. And only in Africa can you stay out in the middle of the bush or desert witnessing these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat, miles away from civilization yet do it in the lap of luxury, being waited on hand and foot by the kindest hospitality staff one can imagine. Every need and desire are thoughtfully attended to from before the sun rises till well after one is comfortably tucked into bed and sent off to dreamland. Accommodations are straight out of Architectural Digest: whether one’s taste is modern, contemporary, traditional, or eclectic, you will find it in Africa and can count on it being top-notch, award winning.
I have experienced many trips back to Africa and plan on many more to come, I can never get enough. South Africa, Botswana and Namibia remain some of my favorite locations within Africa.

Hello All – Raphi and I are at the airport now and we cannot get over how incredible the past two and a half weeks have been in South Africa. We have thoroughly enjoyed every single moment, and we know we will be talking about this trip for the rest of our lives.
